Before and after school hours care is provided by OOSH, a community based non-profit organisation. OOSH is available for children who attend New Lambton Public School at both New Lambton District OOSH and YMCA New Lambton OOSH.
OOSH provides
- an extensive variety of age appropriate activities for children to choose from
- qualified staff (or staff in training). All staff abide by the Code of Conduct and act professionally and sensitively in all matters relating to the care of children using the centre, and
- a nutritionally sound breakfast and afternoon tea with a varied menu planned around the seasons.
Enrolment procedures must be completed prior to attending before and after school care.
New Lambton District OOSH
Situated in the blue demountable within the school grounds of New Lambton South Public School, New Lambton District OOSH caters for the following schools - New Lambton South PS, New Lambton PS, and New Lambton Heights Infants School. Operating hours are 6:45am to the commencement of the school day at each school and end of the school day to 6.00pm. Casual vacancies occur so please ask. As the OOSH office is unattended during the middle of the day, parents will need to phone within OOSH hours.

YMCA New Lambton OSHC
YMCA New Lambton OSHC operates out of St Therese Primary School, New Lambton. YMCA OSHC caters for students from St Therese, New Lambton PS, Wallsend South Public School and HSPA.
